Happy December everyone! Here are some quick updates: Just got the "lady lead" as a CIA agent in the spy thriller, AHRIMAN, and I begin shooting right after
the New Year. It promises to be a fantastic project with beautifully choreographed martial arts, tons of firepower and a touching story. It will also give
a glimpse into Persian culture. More details are to follow.
THE CROW PURGATORY II will premiere March 4th, 2007 during
WonderCon in San Francisco. I am really excited about this film. When I jumped on board I was ignorant of the film's fan base and the responses have
been staggering. More details on the premiere's location coming soon!!
Wow. My calendar project has gotten tremendous response by many talented, interested photographers. Thank you!! I am now in the process of going thru portfo
lios, interviewing graphic artists and wardrobe designers. I hope to begin shooting in early spring. This project is really close to my heart, as I want to p
romote the "Warrior Woman" - strong, powerful and able. I got turned on to fantasy at the age of 13 after reading Conan. I wasn't interested in being
the "Damsel in Distress". Forget that. I wanted to be Conan himself. I am so sick of the media pressure for women to be fragile (and frighteningly skinny)
and I am tired of pointless T&A. I love being a woman, being sexy and having fun, but a woman can also have a brain and can kick some a** if need be. It is
important for me to instill these ideas into my daughter's minds and my son's. Okay, off my soapbox. More info on this project coming soon. Thank you for all

Finally, because I have gotten so many inquiries wondering how I stay in shape while balancing my acting career and raising three kids and because of my passi
on for health and fitness (which led me to work as a certified personal trainer in the past and still consult when time allows), I have decided to add a fitne
ss and health newsletter onto my web site. It will be called "Balancing Act". Although I don't claim to have all the answer
s and while I am still asking many of the questions, I wanted to reach out and help others to achieve health and well-being. I figured a newsletter could hel
p me do just that.
In "Balancing Act," I will be giving tips and ideas about exercise, diet, supplementation and stress management that have wor
ked for me. I will tell of the changes I've made that helped me to overcome many health obstacles, such as a long-term battle with bulimia, depression and ev
en being diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis! I feel it was thru proper diet, supplementation, proper exercise and spiritual growth (which for me was learnin
g to have faith in God ) that got me healthy. I will conduct "Balancing Act" as I do when consulting clients - building step
by step each month. Hopefully, I can answer a lot of your questions in the coming New Year!
Did I say quick updates? Sorry. Now I understand why my son slumps his shoulders, sighs and hangs his head when I ask to talk to him for a "couple of minutes"
