What a time.  THE CROW PURGATORY II premiere went fantastic. The place was packed and the film looked great. Congrats to all, especially to Jeff Lunzaga director of Purgatory. If you missed it, The film will be making the festival rounds and method of distribution is to be decided. Thank you to all who came out in support!
Began working with Toni Suttie with Integrity Casting and established a plan of action. Had a great time in LA and enjoyed meeting so many great people. I am hoping this collaboration will help narrow down my options and help me make the best career choices I can at this time. Am submitting to agents now and am ready for this next step. It seems necessary now as I am looking to get my union card this year.
AHRIMAN is still going strong even though slow. Who knew that making a movie took so long. Ha Ha! Plan to shoot the trailer soon to show some investors interested in the project. The script is going great and has really filled out. This is very exciting. To be in control of one's own project is scarey yet thrilling and if we can pull it off, very rewarding!!
Unfortunately, not all projects go as intended. The kid's program Kids Ed-Ventures is stalled due to lack of manpower. This was a big disappointment for me. Not one to give up easily, I feel a sense of failure when something doesn't follow thru but I had to be reminded I can't do everything myself and so I have to sometimes put my bulldog tendencies aside. Ah, well!
Still working on design concepts for the Warrior Woman calendar , but with a few other projects in the works I may postpone until 2009. I want to put out a great project so I am not going to rush it. I am in negotiations for two other films right now and once I have made some decisions, I will let you know.
It feels so warm and I am ready for Spring. Open up the windows and let some fresh air in. Wonderful!!! I hope you are all enjoying a blooming springtime as well!!
Well, I think it is time to take a nice nap in the sunshine and keep some much needed ZZZs.
